Director of Channel Sales

The Commio Director of Channel Sales will be the keystone in expanding the channel program for the organization. The successful candidate must be well experienced in a fast-paced, channel sales environment targeting the communications and SaaS spaces.

Requirements

  • Channel Account Management/Direct Selling experience with a proven track record of success of quota attainment and YoY quota growth with Channel accounts
  • 10+ years in a technology sales role with at least 3 years as a channel director focused on enterprise, Contact Center, and/or SaaS space
  • Established book of direct and master agent relationships in the enterprise, Contact Center, and/or SaaS space
  • Demonstrated understanding of partner sales models
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and excellent communications skills to drive consensus across groups both internally and within the Channel/Partner organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and can clearly and effectively articulate the value of our products
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to engage with all levels of a partner organization
  • Results-oriented and effective in customer situations comprising senior-level management
  • Strong business planning skills and proven ability to execute and deliver a defined plan
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Ability to travel

Job Duties

  • Develop strategic short-term and long-term plans for recruiting new partners in the communications, enterprise, and SaaS spaces
  • Manage channel sales efforts for voice, text messaging, and API solutions through agents and affiliates
  • Responsible for all critical communication with partners
  • Plan, schedule, and perform all partner training initiatives which may require travel
  • New partner onboarding
  • Coordinate channel marketing communications with Commio marketing team
  • Oversee implementation of partner management portal
  • Build positive working relationships with channel partners across verticals to maximize product sales
  • Develop strategic relationships with partners
  • Manage existing partners and recruit new partners for sales growth
  • Coordinate with partners to identify key sales opportunities to generate revenue
  • Provide product training to partners to drive adoption of our products across a wide range of verticals
  • Resolve partner related issues and sales conflicts in a timely fashion
  • Develop and review sales proposals with partners
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, engineering, and product management teams to deliver partner-specific sales and marketing plans to increase selling efforts on key objectives
  • Manage daily sales activities with partners to achieve revenue objectives
  • Assist in product placement and promotional activities to increase sales
  • Perform partner reviews and recommend improvements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
