VoIP Engineer

Commio is seeking a full-time, U.S.-based engineering professional with the commitment, desire, and drive necessary to support voice solutions for Carrier, Wholesale & Enterprise customers. Commio is hiring VoIP Engineers in the Customer Operations NOC.

Commio is a leader in cloud-based voice application development. Our solutions and services are deployed worldwide and are used by more than 1,500 customers, Internet Telephony Service Providers, and application developers.

What You’ll Do

  • Consult with customers to find solutions to problems they are facing
  • Conduct discovery, product demonstrations, and negotiation calls for prospective customers
  • Engage meaningfully about our solutions with mid-level and senior management
  • Exceed customer expectations and provide support to the team
  • Collaborate with internal team members, including support and technical team members


Minimum 2 years of VoIP engineering experience.

Skills Needed

  • Customer-facing NOC experience
  • Experience with VoIP, specifically the SIP protocol
  • Excellent communications and follow-up skills
  • The ability to think critically and solve problems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to work with people
