Industry Veteran to Focus on Enterprise, Contact Center, and SaaS Markets for Fast-Growing CPaaS Provider

Mike Chase, Channel Sales DirectorRaleigh, NC, March 21, 2022 — Commio, an industry-leading cloud communications provider, announced today the appointment of Michael Chase to the position of channel sales director. The role will focus on developing strategies to recruit and maintain long-term partnerships within the enterprise, contact center, and SaaS spaces across North America.

“We are pleased to welcome Michael to Commio, he will be the keystone in expanding the channel program for our organization,” said Aaron Leon, Commio CEO. “Michael has deep experience leading channel initiatives and is a proven sales leader within the telecommunications industry. With his strategic approach, proven track record, and established relationships, we look forward to collaborating and growing opportunities with new and current partners.”

“Commio’s programmable and redundant voice and messaging solutions, available through both our communications platform as a service (CPaaS) and easy-to-implement APIs, already have a solid presence in these verticals,” Leon notes. “We’re excited to have Michael’s expertise and results-oriented approach to expand our go-to-market strategies and take our relationships to the next level.”

Mike comes to Commio with nearly 25 years of sales experience. Most recently he was with Logmein, Inc., where he spent four years directing the channel management team and exceeding revenue goals each year in support of a product portfolio that included UCaaS and CCaaS offerings. Prior to Logmein, Chase was with Jive (subsequently acquired by Logmein) for nearly five years, where he also served in the channel director position and exceeded sales expectations, expanding the channel team from a staff of four at start-up to more than forty at acquisition. Before that he spent over six years with Panasonic in various award-winning national sales manager positions.

“Commio has an excellent reputation in the industry as both a CPaaS provider with unique value propositions for its voice and messaging solutions, and is a great place to work,” Chase says. “I am thrilled to be joining this innovative and fast-growing company. I am passionate about evangelizing cloud communications and I look forward to expanding both the company’s channel relationships and its bottomline while helping our partners optimize their customer experiences.”
