Cloud Communications Terminology

Robocalling, Robodialing

A robocall is a call made from an automated dialer on a computer to deliver a pre-recorded message. Robocalling is used primarily by politicians and telemarketers, but can be used for any purpose. Because many of them use fraudulent caller IDs, the FCC is implementing STIR/SHAKEN.
