Great Support & Portal
We initially went with Commio because of their prices. However, we've found that not only is their cost incredible, but also their service. Every ticket I've ever created gets assigned to an engineer quickly and the only time I've struggled to get a resolution is when the issue is on some carrier who refuses to do any deep dives. Their portal is also easy to understand and manage. So easy that I've been able to train various other employees on how to use it, and in extreme cases been able to simply talk someone through using it without even having it in front of me.
Better API PlatformThe interface of the site Commio.io is the easiest by far on all the providers that I have been to... I on average use six providers and my go-to is Commio as the first option always. It's easy and it just works.
Reduce Twilio CostsThe best part from Commio, when integrated with Twilio in our case, is that it intelligently switches outbound phone providers depending on the destination we call. It doesn't seem like much to save at first, but seeing it in a cumulative view is a significant cost savings over Twilio.
Inbound & Outbound Calling
The portal allows me to purchase numbers, control my inbound and outbound call routing. I utilize Commio for outbound dialing on some equipment, and backup dialing on other equipment. I can configure test environments and route traffic instantly to my environments. I also love the control to change the outbound carrier I am using, especially if we are troubleshooting carrier issues. Support has been great too!

Second favorite is the ability to switch inbound toll-free routes dynamically if there are any carrier issues. That means ZERO downtime. Text messaging capability is easy to use and implement into our existing workflow. Happy with results.

We were tired of the old ways of telecom, and Commio delivers a fresh take on the space. We are able to get support for our product in minutes, rather than days. You get to have a relationship with your reps, you aren't just another number on a spreadsheet. Their interface on Commio.io is clean and user-friendly, but also gives smart control of your call routing. Commio solved our need for telecom delivery to our on-prem PBX. Only downside is that we didn't switch telecoms sooner.

We provide a SaaS contact center solution for clients. High availability is an absolute requirement and Commio has delivered that. Had FAS issues with some other carriers. Absolutely none with Commio. Problem solved. Best quality routing for contact centers without crazy rate variation. Other carriers there is a choice between quality and least cost routing. Commio is quality with very good intelligent call routing. They deliver good rates without sacrificing quality or using gray routes.
Great Voice Provider
The combined Commio.io portal is more streamlined and on par with other carriers. But even before that Commio was one of my favorite carriers to work with both on the phone number ordering and porting side as well as support when we need to diagnose a customer call report. We get alerts on suspicious activity and a responsive team to work with. I believe Commio is the only provider we work with that we can actually go into the portal and find a full SIP debug on a call or call attempt and follow the segments through to see deep into which carriers were involved and which connections.
